Tracks

All tracks on Moreton island have been reopened, since the recent flooding.

With the wet weather the tracks are smooth and firm, with the occasional  pool of water to negioate

 There is a bypass around the washout on the track into Kooringal from the Eastern Beach. The errosion has been massive, leaving a hugh dropoff down to the beach

This side track is now closed because it to has been washed away.

The boat ramp at Cowan Cowan remains closed.

     Heard that BBC had visited the island on Thursday 2nd Feb to access what had to done to fix the trouble spots that we have due to flooding. Understand they will be sending equipment and manpower over in a couple of weeks
