Despite the boat not starting, loosing the trailer while launching the boat, my foot getting wedged under the boat, all went well. We caught a just legal Snapper and a large Mowong, 8 squid and a quantity of hairtail for bait. A great day….Thanks Johnny and Max

     The top of the tank had to be cut off and then section of the side had to be cut away and dragged from under the house.

     Now we have to organise to fill the hole on under the house.

  As we have been reporting on our fishing report page, the squid are still on, in numbers and good sizes.

These squid were caught on the weed banks infront of Cowan and there are plenty being caught on the banks off the Burials, south of Bulwer.

   Assume someone had trouble getting up the airport cutting towing the boat…..unhooked the boat and went on to set up camp…come back later for boat….forgot about the tide

  The rangers start the repairs on the boat ramp at Cowan today. They are taking sand off the beach at the southern end on town for fill and then we lay the ramp back down
